Robert Noble appears in the near ground in the photo on left. I'd like to think he is pictured with his friend Milwyn Jenkins wearing the Panama hat he lusted for, but that can't be known for certain.In the photo on the right, Robert and his friend appear on the high scaffolding just to the right of the rectangular opening in the lock under construction.
