1025 - 40th St.,
Brooklyn, NY

Aug 9, 1915

Dear Mr Noble:-
Are you coming
Tuesday evening to see us?
I hope so, and Mother told
me to ask your sister. Tell
her we would be delighted
to see her. If it is inconvenient
to come Tuesday evening, then
come Friday night, because
Mother is going away on Wed-
nesday to stay a couple of
days. Hoping you are well,

Sincerely,

Doris Cassell

Note: Robert's sister arrived in US between 24 Aug 1913 and 9 Aug 1915. Doris is careful to keep things proper, urging Robbie to visit when Doris' mother will be there to chaperone.

The envelope was postmarked Aug 9, 1915, 12 PM, Brooklyn, NY Sta, with postmark "Blythebourne" stamped across the postage stamp. It was addressed to Mr R. Noble, 24 State Street, New York City, New York, with c/o S. S. Panama in bottom left corner. Enclosed was a postal card with the above note.
